St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s has developed rigorous and creative programs that ensure placement of our students in the finest secondary schools. Support for these programs, together with faculty compensation, accounts for the relatively high cost of tuition. We believe the value of a St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s education will, however, match the financial sacrifices families make to send their children here.
From its founding more than 50 years ago, the school’s stated mission has been to enroll students who represent a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Our financial aid program assists qualified children who might not otherwise have access to an independent school education. We are fortunate to have many qualified applicants to St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s. The competition for financial aid funding makes it critical that families submit all requested materials in a timely manner. Financial Aid is open to all students in nursery-grade 8. Financial Aid is also available for our After School Program.
St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s currently works with TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) to handle all financial aid applications. We are confident that your experience with them will be manageable, convenient, and pleasant. You will be guided through the process directly by the exceptional TADS personnel who will be your primary contact for all financial aid questions. It is important to note that final decisions regarding financial aid awards will be handled by the SHSH Financial Aid Committee.
If you require assistance at any point during your financial aid application process, please contact TADS from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, at (800) 884-8237. You will also find helpful information and all answers to your questions on their web site: www.mytads.com.
Between October 1-October 30: Please complete TADS’ Financial Aid Application Worksheet for 2017-2018, which will be available in September. By completing this worksheet, you will be gathering all necessary financial aid information which will be required for TADS’ online application.
