We have a very active parent community who volunteer in many ways, large and small. Your involvement in St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's further enhances your child's experience at school.
Every current parent is a member of the Parents Association, the organization that links parents to each other and to the school. The PA organizes meetings throughout the year featuring topics of particular interest to our community and coordinates parent support for school initiatives. PA volunteers serve as class representatives and plan and staff many of the events and programs that make St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s the thriving, dynamic place it is.
Volunteers manage the school store, assist the admission office, give Chapel talks, organize the Thanksgiving Food Chain, prepare costumes for the Christmas Pageant and Spring Production, help with the Christmas tree and wreath sale, run the Hoopla student basketball tournament, serve on the parent SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) Committee and, this year, will create a festive new Holiday Hands service project. Every parent is invited and encouraged to get involved. In addition, we welcome and embrace the involvement of our alumni, grandparents, and parents of alumni.
