Caregivers’ Dedication, Professionalism Recognized by Head of School

Head of School Virginia Connor recognized the contributions of the community’s caregivers at the annual Caregivers Breakfast on Feb. 6. More than 50 caregivers were presented with certificates to acknowledge their dedicated service to the children and families of St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s, and Reverend Arden Strasser, Religious Knowledge Teacher, offered a prayer of thanksgiving for their work.

Ms. Connor stressed the unique combination of devotion and professionalism exemplified by the caregivers of the school, noting that, at a school that educates students in the early childhood and elementary years, caregivers are integral to children’s happiness and success at school.

Katherin Bullard, who, as the caregiver to a family with children in the fourth, fifth, and seventh grades, has been part of the St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s community for nearly 10 years, spoke at the conclusion of the event to thank Ms. Connor for the breakfast and for recognizing each caregiver’s contributions to the life of the school.
