Welcome to St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s

St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s is a school for children. We welcome boys and girls as young as 2 for our early childhood and elementary programs.

April 18 is National High-Five Day. The Upper Division Student Council along with the St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's Hawk greeted the community with high-fives as they arrived in the morning. The celebration continued throughout the day from the Nursery Lemonade Stand where customers paid with high-fives to the grade 3 Ice-cream Sundae Party in the Special Dining Room, and beyond.

Some new friends stepped “out of the wardrobe” to greet students and parents of St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s when they arrived for school last Friday. Aslan the Lion, Mr. Tumnus, The Pevensie children, The Professor, and Jadis the White Witch—portrayed by members of the faculty—were assembled in the lobby, a living tableau of characters students have come to know and love during the school’s month-long exploration of C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

“I'll tell you what ‘freedom’ is to me—no fear!” The words of legendary soul singer Nina Simone inspired the students, faculty, and parents assembled at this year's Gospel Celebration, titled “A Journey of Love, Rooted in the African-American Tradition.”
