Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways to support St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s! Volunteers enhance every aspect of school life. We have a very active network of parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and friends of the school who share their time and talents to benefit our students and program.
Parents’ Association
As a St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s parent, you are a member of the Parents’ Association, the organization that links parents to each other and to the school. The PA organizes meetings throughout the year featuring topics of particular interest to our community and coordinates parent support for school initiatives. In addition, PA volunteers serve as class representatives, staff the school store, organize the Thanksgiving Food Chain, prepare costumes for the Christmas Pageant and Spring Production, participate in Parent SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity), and do so much more to make St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s the thriving, dynamic place it is. Every parent is welcomed and encouraged to get involved.
St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s Fund Cabinet
The St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s Fund Cabinet works closely with the development office on the annual fund, the cornerstone of our school’s fundraising efforts. Cabinet members contact fellow parents in their grades directly to encourage contributions. Last year was the 15th consecutive year that we have had 100 percent parent, faculty, and trustee participation. The cabinet has a kick-off reception/training session in the fall and a meeting in January. St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's Fund Cabinet members are selected in the spring for the following school year.
