Our food service provider, Cater to You, offers a Farm To School program that is committed to preparing meals using ingredients that are locally sourced, sustainable, and traceable. Seasonal fruits and vegetables, eggs, dairy products, legumes and cider come from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania farms. Breads and other neighborhood specialty foods are also served.
The culinary team is led by Chef Manager, Carla Whittle. Chef, Sous Chef, and staff members are trained in allergy awareness in order to comply with the school’s nut-aware policy. Delicious, balanced meals are prepared from scratch daily. Students and faculty enjoy lunch together in our two, newly renovated cafeterias or in the Special Dining Room for small, group occasions.
