It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Lower Division program.  At St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s, we value and embrace the joys of childhood in all that we do. Each school day is an opportunity for learning, personal growth, and excitement.

The teachers and I work closely together to ensure that each child's experience in the Lower Division is a meaningful one that sets the stage for a lifelong love of school and a positive attitude about learning and playing with others. Beginning in our early childhood program and continuing through third grade, we establish a loving, nurturing, and structured environment so that each child can grow to his or her potential. We encourage children to express their needs and ideas, as well as to show respect for the needs and ideas of others.

My goals are for each child to experience success at school and for each child to love coming to school. Children thrive when the school and the family communicate regularly about both the day-to-day activities and the overall curriculum. We are a small school by design, and we appreciate that getting to know each child and following his or her progress is a privilege.

I hope you enjoy exploring the website to learn more about our Lower Division.
Sincerely,

Paula Lee
Lower Division Director
