Every St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s parent or guardian is a member of the Parents’ Association (PA). The mission of the PA is to strengthen ties within our community. In support of this goal, the PA Executive Committee sponsors and organizes activities that aim to enrich our entire school community and provide opportunities for all parents to get involved. The PA also organizes meetings throughout the year featuring topics of particular interest to our community.

The PA is aligned with the school’s tenet of unity in diversity and is particularly focused on inclusiveness in all our endeavors. The PA aims to create an environment in which parents, through discussion and participation, share the diversity of their talents and experiences to strengthen our community.

Participation and Volunteer Opportunities

Parents have the opportunity to participate in and support the PA in numerous ways—from serving as class representatives, helping with the school store, contributing to teacher appreciation events, working behind the scenes on school performances, as well as participating in events such as our all-school holiday party and tree sales, and Hoopla our student/parent basketball tournament.

Volunteer opportunities are numerous, and range from small time commitments to larger ongoing opportunities. It is a great way to get involved with the larger St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s community, and we welcome everyone’s participation. Your ideas, time, and talent are greatly appreciated and make St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s the thriving, dynamic place it is!
